SCHOOL HEALTH & WELLBEING SERVICE
Comprehensive and practical support which can be tailored to your individual school needs.
Introduction
The S4S School Health & Wellbeing Service is delivered in partnership with the specialist service provider Health & Wellbeing in Schools. Through a broad range of high-quality specialist support centred around the health and wellbeing practice of schools, particularly in relation to Personal, Social, Health & Economic (PSHE) education, the School Health & Wellbeing Service is designed to empower and support your school’s delivery of best practice and whole-school approaches to promoting pupil health and wellbeing. This is achieved through a combination of advice, professional development, curriculum development and direct, bespoke support to suit your individual school needs.
The S4S School Health & Wellbeing Service also crucially helps schools to implement and meet expectations placed upon them by the DfE statutory RSHE (Relationships, Sex & Health Education). The support we offer enables schools to improve and evidence meaningful links to Ofsted expectations, such as those within Personal Development, and other school improvement priorities related to health and wellbeing.
We are passionate about supporting schools, professionals and young people. Through experience, we know that a whole-school approach to improving the personal development, health and wellbeing of your school community will have a positive impact on wider school improvement issues and equate to improved outcomes for children and young people. The S4S School Health & Wellbeing Service can offer you the additional capacity and expertise to help you achieve this.
Examples of what we can provide include:
